Spot on Winston. Just so. Your comments shine a clear light on the folly that has corrupted the COE. Thank you.

Excellent commentary on the corrupted state of the CoE in what I believe are the End Days which the ancient prophets, Jesus our Lord and Savior, and St John spoke of in the Book of Revelation. For those of us who hold to our Christian roots whether we go to Church or not, must keep the faith and steer clear of the corruption.

Winston,

Christians need to come together. I'm a lapsed Catholic. Your stint on GB News has inspired me to go to mass this Sunday. Thanks and God bless.

Why do these people claim to be headed towards net zero? Most of the world relocated manufacturing to the filthiest producer on the planet. It takes roughly 3 years for solar panels installed in the UK to recover the energy (lignite coal) that China used to make those panels. The other global warming potential from manufacture adds more time to that. No solution should include the problem (on steroids) in its planning. Yet here we are, guided by fools.

Very sad that there was no mention of lent or ash Wednesday by our King or the church. I am catholic but didnt hear any religious messages by representatives today in the UK.

You are so right! Christians, certainly Church of England Christians, are ‘wandering in the Wilderness’ The Church does not teach the Gospels anymore. They are the root of the Christian faith. Instead they seem to follow new teachings that have no resemblance to the New Testament. They have lost their way and left their members behind

This report almost brought me to tears, for the state of the church in our country. No wonder the country itself is in such a mess, the fruit of two generations of a compromised, broken, faithless church. Then I recalled the hope-filled, on fire evangelical churches dotted all around our land, including some which somehow remain in the Anglican Church, and pray for a revival which the Lord may bring even as he brings this nation to its knees.

I have been heartened by some of the voices coming out of America - Bishop Barron and is Word on Fire inspires me in my faith. I pray a similar revival will come to these shores.

Bravo Winston, even for a lapsed catholic, it is a very sad state of affairs.

Same here. I’m beginning to reevaluate my thoughts on organised religion now that I see the debauchery and insanity that is replacing it. How can a church promote a cult that is mutilating children? It’s beyond comprehension.

Thanks for speaking out Winston, this is a very important issue.

The church leadership is one thing, its congregations are another. We all have agency. If you’ve read this article and are concerned a simple action plan is: 1) Go to your local church on Sunday. 2) Put something in the collection plate. 3) Talk to your neighbours. 4) Repeat. Let's make it a grass roots movement.

You always lay truth bare-or as the saying goes, you “hit the nail squarely on the head”

Your question “But why teach Christian virtue when you can virtue signal instead?” brought to mind Isaiah 14 specifically verses 14-15 “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'

But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.” (ESV)

As old as the Fall is virtue signaling, better known as pride. Who has time to humble themselves before God when they are so consumed and concerned with their own self-aggrandizement😏😒
