Dolly has got to be the most underrated artist of all time in the UK. I watched a documentary about her and I realised how ignorant I was of her talent - it was truly extraordinary. I don’t believe there has been a more prolific songwriter, and she had more hits than most people realise - there are so many songs that people don’t know are her’s.
Also, what an absolute gem of a human being. Someone who truly lit up the world around her.
