A far more witty review for Mumford and Sons than the standard, 'The Wurzels without the tunes.'

Rod was quite often 'mean' to individuals in some of his more scathing articles, most didn't hold a grudge against him for it.

He was remarkable, a clever witty working class lad who made his way to become editor of the BBC Radio 4 flagship Today programme.

Of course the corporation wouldn't let someone like Rod through the doors today, even if it was to scrub the gender neutral toilets.

Deepest condolences to his family.

Lovely tribute Winston. I never met him but saw him twice in conversation. I’m devastated. RIP Rod.
